Terps' Football Game Time Versus North Carolina Changed to Noon
COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The kickoff time for Maryland's football game versus North Carolina on September 20 in Byrd Stadium has been changed to Noon and will be shown regionally on Jefferson-Pilot Television it was announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference Office. The game time change now allow new head coach Ron Vanderlinden to showcase his Terps on television twice during the first three weeks of the season.
Maryland will travel to Florida State to play the Seminoles on September 13 in a game which will be televised by ABC. That game will begin at 3:30 p.m. The Terps will then play host to the Tar Heels in the JP game of the week on September 20.
The Terps will open the 1997 as they play host to o Ohio University on September 6.
