Points in 1st Qtr- Maryland's 17 points in the first quarter was its most since the Terps scored 21 points in
the first qtr. vs. Virginia on Nov. 20, 1982.
Points in 1st Half- Maryland's 31 points in the first half was its most since the Terps scored 35 points in
the first half vs. lndiana State on Oct 9, 1982.
Points in a Half- Maryland's 31 first-half points was its most since the Terps scored 33 points in the
second half vs. Clemson on Nov. 14, 1992.
Career Reception Yards- Geroy Simon's 57 yards receiving on four catches moved him into second place
all-time on the school's career reception yardage list. He now has 1,931 yards and passed Azizuddin
Abdur-Ra'oof's total of 1,895.
Two 100-Yard Rushers in a Game- This is thc first time since Nov, 17, 1984 vs. Clemson that Maryland
had two 100-yd rushers in the same game. Today, Harold Westley had 120 yards and Buddy Rodgers had
106 yards. Alvin Blount rushed for 214 yards and Tommy Neal rushed for 113 yards vs. Clemson in 1984.
Shutout- This was Mark Duffner's first shutout at Maryland, it was also Maryland's first shutout since
the Terps defeated North Carolina 38-0 on Oct. 28, 1989.
Margin of Victory- Maryland's 52-point margin of victory was its largest since the Terps defeated then
No. 10-ranked Missouri, 74-13, on Nov. 25, 1954.
Total Points- Maryland's 52 total points was its highest output since the Terps recorded 53 points versus
Clemson on Nov. 14, 1992.
Rushing Yards- Maryland's 355 yards rushing was its highest total since the Terps rushed for 406 yards
vs. Clemson on Nov. 17, 1984. It was also Maryland's highest rushing total in the series vs. Wake.
Total Yards- Maryland's 589 total yards was its second highest total under Duffner. Maryland compiled
649 total yards vs Yirginia Tech on Sept. 25, 1993. The 649-yard total is also Maryland's highest in the
series vs Wake. Maryland averaged 224 total yards in 1996 entering today's game.
