As a Freshman (2012): Served a redshirt season ... named scout team offensive player of the week for his efforts in preparation for the William & Mary (9/1) and West Virginia (9/22) games.

At McEachern High School: A speedy, three-year starter at wide receiver ... the 74th-ranked player in the state of Georgia by 247Sports.com ... also ranked No. 118 nationally among wideouts by 247Sports.com ... a 2011 second team all-state (Class AAAAA) selection at wide receiver ... caught 58 passes for 907 yards and six touchdowns as a senior ... helped lead a potent McEachern offense which outscored opponents 451-147 en route to a 10-2 record in 2011 ... had 35 receptions for 710 yards and eight touchdowns in 2010 ... an accomplished sprinter on the track team ... member of the Indians' 400-meter relay team that finished runner-up for the 2011 Class AAAAA state championship ... also received offers from Virginia, Illinois, Purdue, and South Florida ... coached by Kyle Hockman.
