On Reddick: Player in his second year who will compete at strong safety this season ... sat out last season after transferring from Navy ... a hard-working player ... saw significant action in his first two years at the Naval Academy ... played corner for the Midshipmen ... runs well and is an exceptional leaper (40-inch vertical jump) ... showed a nose for the ball in the spring.

2005 (Redshirt Sophomore): Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules.

2004 (Sophomore @ Navy): Played in all 12 games, starting the last 10 at cornerback ... recorded 52 tackles, had three PBUs, blocked an extra point and led the team with three interceptions ... (vs. UNM) ... posted eight tackles (four solo) in the Emerald Bowl ... (vs. Army) ... had five tackles, broke up a pass and blocked an extra point ... (vs. Air Force) ... posted a career-high seven tackles and intercepted two passes.

2003 (Freshman @ Navy): Played the final six games of the season ... missed the first seven after suffering an injury in fall camp ... played primarily on special teams.

High School: A three-year letterwinner at Morse High School in San Diego, Calif. ... played defensive and strong safety ... team captain his senior year and most valuable player as a junior and senior ... also lettered four years in basketball and three years in track ... defensive player of the year as a junior for his basketball team ... was also recruited by Colorado State ... high school coach was John Shacklett.
