Brandon Ross ran for 141 yards and a touchdown in the loss.
As a Sophomore (2012): Led the team in rushing with 390 yards despite playing in just six games ... averaged 65.0 rushing yards per game ... missed the first three games with a hamstring injury ... made his Maryland debut against West Virginia (9/22), earning the start and rushing 20 times for 52 yards ... started at running back vs. Wake Forest (10/6) and carried the ball five times for eight yards ... did not play against Virginia (10/13), NC State (10/20) or Boston College (10/27) ... returned to action and led the team with 12 rushes for 66 yards against Georgia Tech (11/3) ... started and ran for 100 yards against Clemson (11/10), his first career 100-yard game ... started and ran 11 times for 30 yards and caught one pass for five yards against Florida State (11/17) ... set career highs with 21 rushes for 141 yards against North Carolina (11/24), while also breaking off a 71-yard run that was the longest by a Terrapin all season ... scored the first touchdown of his career on a 1-yard run in the first quarter.
As a Freshman (2011): Served a redshirt season ... earned offensive scout team player of the week leading up to the West Virginia (9/17) and Wake Forest (11/19) games.
At Charter School of Wilmington: A three-year starter ... a second team all-state selection ... the 95th-ranked running back in the nation according to Scout.com ... 1,172 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns on 181 carries as a senior ... also posted 19 catches for 287 yards and four touchdowns in 2010 ... after a 2-8 2009 campaign, he helped his team rebound to a 7-3 record his senior season, the best record in program history ... carried the ball 179 times for 1,100 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2009 ... also considered Boston College, Army, Delaware State, Rutgers, and North Carolina State.
