A speedy-yet-physical fifth-year wide receiver with explosive abilities ... also a solid blocker and good special-teams player ... expected to compete for a starting role in the fall.

As a Senior (2012): Saw action in four games at wide receiver and on special teams ... started and recorded two catches for 21 yards against William & Mary (9/1) ... saw action but recorded no catches against Temple (9/8) ... hauled in two passes for 15 yards vs. Connecticut (9/15) ... missed the West Virginia (9/22) with a hamstring injury ... saw action against Wake Forest (10/6) but didn't have a catch ... missed the final seven games of the season with an injury.

As a Junior (2011): Saw action in all 12 games, with starts in five ... third on the team in receptions (37) and receiving yards (430) ... had seven special teams tackles which led the team ... caught two passes for 40 yards against Miami (9/5) ... had four catches for 61 yards against West Virginia (9/17) ... posted a career-best eight catches and a then career-high 76 receiving yards against Temple (9/24) ... made one catch for 17 yards against Georgia Tech (10/8) ... made four catches for 30 yards and made a pair of special teams tackles against Clemson (10/15) ... started against Florida State (10/22) but didn't have a catch ... made two special teams tackles against the Seminoles ... tied for a game high with four receptions against Boston College (10/29), totaling 33 yards ... caught six passes, including a career-long 35 yarder, for a career-high 101 yards against Virginia (11/5) ... made three catches for 37 yards against Notre Dame (11/12) ... had two catches for 10 yards against Wake Forest (11/19) ... recorded three receptions for 25 yards against NC State (11/26).

As a Sophomore (2010): Played in all 13 games as a reserve wideout and special teams player ... fourth on the team (at least 10 catches) in average yards per reception (12.4) ... ranked tied for fourth in special teams tackles (11) ... posted a career-high four tackles (all on kickoff returns) vs. Morgan State (9/11) ... had a season-long 27-yard reception vs. FIU (9/25) ... had a breakout day against Boston College (10/23), setting season highs in receptions (3) and receiving yards (32), while catching his first career TD pass ... posted one catch for 9 yards against Virginia (11/13) ... had one reception for 20 yards against Florida State (11/20) ... also had one catch for 16 yards against NC State (11/27) and had one special teams tackle ... made two receptions for 14 yards and had a pair of tackles against East Carolina (12/29).

As a Redshirt Freshman (2009): Played in 10 games at wide receiver, including two starts (vs. Rutgers, 9/26; vs. Virginia, 10/17) ... also a solid special teams player who notched five tackles (tied for fifth on the team) ... had a season-best two catches vs. Middle Tennessee St. (9/19), Wake Forest (10/10) and Virginia ... posted a season-long 24-yard reception and a season-high 31 receiving yards vs. the Demon Deacons ... missed the Duke game (10/24) with a hand injury ... did not play vs. BC (11/28).

As a Freshman (2008): Served a redshirt season ... named offensive scout team player of the week leading up to the season opener vs. Delaware (8/30).

At Oscar Frommel Smith High School: A standout wide receiver who used his explosiveness as a kick returner ... also saw time at strong safety during his career ... a member of the ESPN 150 ... the 138th-ranked prospect in the nation by ESPN.com ... ranked No. 194 on the Rivals.com 250 ... rated No. 20 nationally among receivers by Scouts, Inc. and No. 26 by Rivals.com ... the eighth-best prospect in the state of Virginia by Rivals.com ... the 11th-ranked recruit in Virginia according to SuperPrep ... rated No. 13 overall among Virginia recruits by Scout.com ... earned second-team all-state honors as a junior and first-team honors as a senior ... a two-time first-team All-Tidewater selection ... named team captain and best receiver as a senior ... although missed half of the season with an injury, totaled 43 catches for 705 yards and nine scores as a senior ... led team to an Eastern Regional Title in 2007 ... had 35 catches for 750 yards and six touchdowns as a junior ...also ran the 55-meter hurdles for the track team in 2006 and 2007, earning all-district honors ... also recruited by Tennessee, Michigan State, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia Tech and Virginia... coached by Richard Morgan.
