Maryland plays host to NC State Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
As a Freshman (2012): Played in all 12 games with five starts ... led all freshmen on the team with 41 total tackles, including 26 solo stops ... also had one interception and two fumble recoveries ... played a reserve role against William & Mary (9/1) but did not record a tackle ... had one tackle vs. Temple (9/8) ... assisted on a tackle against Connecticut (9/15) ... played a reserve role against West Virginia (9/22), but did not record a tackle ... made his first career start against Wake Forest (10/6) and recorded three total tackles, including two solo tackles ... started against Virginia (10/13) and led the team with nine total tackles, including four solo tackles ... also had one interception and returned it 21 yards ... recorded four total tackles against NC State (10/20) ... totaled six solo tackles against Boston College (10/27) ... recorded eight tackles including four solo tackles against Georgia Tech (11/3)... totaled nine tackles including seven solo tackles and one fumble recovery against Clemson (11/10)... played a reserve role against Florida State (11/17) but didn't record a tackle.
