The Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex - Home of Maryland Lacrosse
The premier, state-of-the-art home of the 11-time national champions seats 1,400 spectators and meets the highest field standards. Opened in 2003 with a water-based Astroturf 12 playing surface, the fan-friendly facility is located on Paint Branch Drive (off Route 193) adjacent to Comcast Center. Parking for fans is available in on-site lots or the nearby Terrapin Trail Garage.
Two phases of construction were concluded in 2005. The first phase featured the construction of the playing surface and a remote watering system. The second phase of the project included a full concourse-level plaza with restrooms, concession areas, team locker rooms and athletic training facilities.
