Maryland Sports Properties, the exclusive marketing and multi-media rights partner of University of Maryland Athletics and a division of CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Student Intern in College Park, MD.
Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in client contract fulfillment, sales support and perform other tasks as required to help insure the success of Maryland Sports Properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with day to day tasks necessary to insure the overall success of Maryland Sports Properties.
- Be available on football game day Saturdays, evening athletic events and coaches’ radio shows.
- Be available on Fridays prior to home football games to assist with game day set up.
- Assist with coordination and execution of game day activities, hospitality and events pertaining to partner integration as well as assist in implementing sponsor promotions, including coordination of pre-game, in-game and post-game promotions with Maryland Athletics.
- Represent CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, Maryland Sports Properties and the University of Maryland in a professional manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives.
- Must show proof of automobile insurance with $100,000/$300,000 policy limits.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
Position is unpaid internship. Credit can be obtained towards undergraduate degree.
