Inducted 2008

• Changed the course of intercollegiate athletic history for both Maryland and the ACC
• First African-American to play Division I football South of the Mason-Dixon Line and in the ACC
• After a long career in business, became a Maryland Athletics fundraiser
• Scored the winning touchdown in 1963 against an undefeated Air Force team on the final play of the game
