COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse team (16-0, 5-0 B1G) finishes the regular season with a top-20 matchup against No. 15 Northwestern (9-7, 4-1) Thursday at 8 p.m.
• The Terps-Wildcats game will be aired on the Big Ten Network.
• With a win Thursday, Maryland will win the Big Ten regular season title outright and earn the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten Tournament.
• If the Terps defeat the Wildcats, Maryland will finish the regular season undefeated for the 10th time in program history and third straight season.
LAST TIME OUT
• Senior midfielder Zoe Stukenberg had six points (2G, 4A) and freshman midfielder Kali Hartshorn had five (4G, 1A) as the Terps defeated No. 5 Penn State, 16-14, last Thursday.
• Stukenberg and Hartshorn each had four draw controls while Stukenberg also had two ground balls and three caused turnovers.
• The Terps captured at least a share of the Big Ten regular season title with a win over the Nittany Lions.
