Stukenberg Named CoSIDA Academic All-American

AUSTIN, Texas – Midfielder Zoe Stukenberg was selected to the CoSIDA First Team All-America At-Large team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America Thursday.
Stukenberg graduated last month with a 4.0 grade-point average and a degree in biological sciences. She is a three-time recipient of the NCAA's Elite 90 award, given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's 90 championships. Stukenberg also earned the Big Ten Medal of Honor.
An Ellicott City, Md., native, Stukenberg earned the Tewaaraton Award last week as the top collegiate lacrosse player. She is also a Honda Award finalist and was named the IWLCA National Midfielder of the Year. The senior was an IWLCA First Team All-American and the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year.
As a senior co-captain, Stukenberg led the Terps to a 23-0 record and the 2017 NCAA Championship. In her four years in College Park, she helped the team to an 89-3 overall record and three national titles.
Last year, Stukenberg was named a Third Team Academic All-American. This summer, she will begin a position with Teach for America.
The women's at-large program includes athletes from bowling, crew, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, tennis and water polo. For the full list of honorees, click here.
