ACC 50th Anniversary Team

Maryland placed six members on the ACC 50th Anniversary Team in 2002. All from teams in the 1990s, Maryland representatives were Colleen Hurley, Nicole Lantagne, Sherry Smith, Eden Kroeger, Elizabeth Efron and Daune Koester. Under the guidance of head coach Janice Kruger, the Terrapins won ACC titles in 1990, 1996, 2003 and 2004, a co-championship in 2005 and a regular-season title in 1997. Maryland has earned seven NCAA Tournament berths and in 1997 became the 10th Division I volleyball team in history to record a perfect regular season (25-0).
