- Parking in Lot 1/Z is available Saturday and Sunday at no charge.
- On weekdays, Parking is available in Lot 1/Z after 4pm at no charge.

Bag Policy and Prohibited Items
- Backpacks are not permitted.
- Bags over 12''x12''x6'' are not permitted.
The Big Ten promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation in helping to maintain a family-friendly environment for fans of all ages, and in supporting the student-athletes, coaches and officials in a positive manner. Profanity or actions to incite, intimidate or threaten others will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. The list of items and/or activities prohibited during athletic competitions and events include but are not limited to:
- Pets*
- Outside Food or Drink of any kind*
- Illegal Substances
- Fireworks / Firearms
- Weapons (both real and facsimiles)
- Flammables of any kind
- Laser Pointers
- Artificial Noisemakers
- Strollers
- Skateboards / Bicycles
- Dangerous or Disruptive Behavior
- Signage, Apparel or other Items that display, depict or represent recognizable symbols and/or words, including nooses and swastikas, that incite, intimidate, or threaten members of the University of Maryland community.
- Sign Poles or Sign Sticks
- Smoking
- Soliciting / Loitering / Trespassing
- Video Cameras
- Umbrellas
- Backpacks / Bags that are not clear and over 12" x 6" x 12".
- Resale of Ticket
- Pass-Outs / Re-Entry
- Any other items or actions deemed dangerous or disruptive to the fan experience

Tailgate Guidelines
- Please obey all posted parking regulations.
- Please pull your vehicle fully into your parking space.
- Tents and/or other items must not block roadways, parking spaces, drive lanes, or walkways.
- Maximum allowable tent size for normal tailgates is 10’ x 10’. Tents may NOT be staked.
- For info about hosting larger tailgates, contact the UMD’s Fire Marshal’s Office HERE.
- Guests must keep their tailgate confined to their parking space or landscape areas.
- All music must be confined to your tailgate.

Bathrooms & Recycling
- Please help keep our campus clean. Find the recycling drop location closest to your tailgate.
- Athletics provides indoor bathrooms available within Kehoe Track at Ludwig Field during Lacrosse games.
The Difference Between a Party and a Tailgate
- The Department of Public Safety differentiates between a “tailgate” and a “party”. A party will be disbanded and attendees removed from the lots.
- A tailgate has a variety of food and beverages, including non-alcoholic beverages, available in sufficient quantities for the number of people attending.
- A party has some of the following characteristics:
- Common containers such as kegs, party balls, large containers of mixed drinks, beer tubs, trash cans of beer. (All are PROHIBITED on University of Maryland Campus.)
- Drinking games or devices (i.e. beer pong, funnels)
- Underage drinkers
- Large numbers of people
