The Terrapin Club 30 Under 30 program recognizes outstanding Maryland young alumni for their professional lives and embodiment of Maryland Pride. The 30 Under 30 program seeks to connect young alumni to the Maryland Athletics community. The 2021 Terrapin Club 30 Under 30 program will accept nominations starting in early January.

Eligibility and Criteria:

  • Must be a graduate of the University of Maryland (undergraduate or graduate degree)
  • Must be age 29 or under for the year honored
  • Nominees for the 30 Under 30 must embody Maryland Pride

Maria_Ball

Maria louzon ball '12

Maria Louzon Ball is the president of the Seattle Terp Alumni Group. In this role, she has been a pioneer in promoting the Terps 10,000 campaign aimed at growing the Terrapin Club membership. She also hosts game watches and events for the Seattle Terps. She works as an Account Executive at Salesforce where she works with small and medium sized business. Before working for Salesforce, Maria served as Senior Account Executive for iHeartMedia. Maria earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and Government in 2012.

Victoria Bowcutt is a CPA currently working as an Audit Senior at Ernst & Young in Baltimore, where she coaches new staff entering the profession from UMD and assists undergraduates with the recruiting process. Victoria earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting and Information Systems in 2016 and hopes to one-day work as a professor back at her alma mater. While at Maryland, Victoria was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity and served as a Resident Assistant for the ACES Honors College Program. Victoria was also a Teaching Assistant for Accounting I & II during her time at Maryland. She continues her affiliation through her lifetime membership to the alumni association.

A former Maryland Tennis student-athlete and member of SAAC, Olga Bredikhina graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Olga is an Assistant Research Economist at The University of Alabama where she leads and supports research initiatives to improve transportation infrastructure in Alabama and the U.S. While attending Maryland, Olga received the Senior Marshal Award (2016), was named twice to the Big Ten All-Academic Team (2015, 2016), and received the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award (2015 and 2016).

Nataliya_Bredikjina

Nataliya Bredikhina spent her time in College Park as an international student-athlete on the Tennis team in the class of 2016. In 2018 and 2019, Nataliya earned two master’s degrees from the University of Central Florida. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Business Administration from Temple University. Nataliya strives to serve her community and has spent substantial time volunteering with the St. Bernard Project organization working to rebuild communities devastated by natural disasters.

Anna_Brune

Anna Brune graduated from Maryland in 2015 and spent her time in College Park working as an intern for the athletic marketing department. After earning her Bachelor of Arts from Maryland, Anna went on to the University of Tennessee to earn her Master’s in Recreation and Sport Management. From there, Anna worked with the Chicago Bears before accepting a position working with student-athletes at Noble Network of Charter Schools. In this role, she is able to support Chicago’s youth while fulfilling her passion of working in sports.

Sarah Calta is a former Maryland Softball player, 2016 All Big 10 team selection, 2x Academic Achievement Award Winner and 4x Academic All-Conference Winner who graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. Sarah is currently working towards her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. At age 14, Sarah was diagnosed with a bulging disc and was told she needed surgery. Instead of pursuing surgery, she was able to heal with chiropractic treatment which ultimately inspired her to pursue a profession in chiropractic post-college. Sarah’s current goal is to help her future patients achieve optimum health and wellness through chiropractic care.

Nicholas_Cerulli

Nicholas Cerulli graduated from Maryland in 2012 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering before getting his JD from George Washington in 2017. Nick is a fifth-year associate at Finnegan LLP and practices all aspects of IP law. He is a trusted adviser to many domestic and international companies, including several Fortune Global 500 companies. Nick also devotes part of his time to pro bono cases, including helping veterans with disabilities appeal unfavorable decisions from the VA.

Alycia_Chanin

Alycia Chanin works at Marriott International as a Manager of Global Employer Brand and Communications. In this role, Alycia develops and implements strategic communications and integrated marketing campaigns for Marriott's workforce of 740,000 people worldwide, centered on the company's employee wellbeing and culture initiative. Previously, she held roles on Marriott’s global media relations team as well as at Discovery Communications, where she executed public relations for the company’s corporate partnership division. Alycia is a proud alumna and has remained involved with the University by speaking at undergraduate career events, regularly participating in alumni functions, and holding season tickets for Maryland Football and Men’s Basketball. She is a 2014 double major in Communication and Psychology with a Minor in Spanish.

Candess Correll is a Senior Software Engineer for Ernst & Young as well as a NFL Pro Bowl Cheerleader & Captain for the Washington Redskins. She currently volunteers for the non-profit, Science Cheerleaders, which is a group of NFL/NBA cheerleaders that have thriving STEM careers and teach science classes to young girls interested in the STEM field. As a cheerleader, Candess has traveled to three countries with Armed Forces Entertainment to visit our military and their families overseas. Candess is a 2016 Graduate with a degree in Computer Science.

Maggie Doran is currently employed by the University of Maryland Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In her role, Maggie travels to high schools and college fairs to recruit future Terps. While at Maryland, Maggie was a member of the Maryland Images campus tour group, CIVICUS living and learning program, and Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. She began as an intern in the admissions office her sophomore year and was formally hired in 2016 after she graduated with dual degrees in English Language and Literature and Communications.

Racquel Douglas is currently employed by Uninterrupted, a company owned by Lebron James. Before working for Uninterrupted, Racquel had stints at Nike and the NFL Players Association. In 2018, she was honored by Front Office Sports as "Rising 25 under 25 in the Sports Industry” and selected by the National Sports Forum to be a part of their 2018 Business of Diversity in Sports & Entertainment Cohort. Racquel is a former Maryland Athletics marketing intern and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology.

Sean-Ellenby

sean ellenby '12

Sean Ellenby holds the title of Assistant Athletic Director for Men’s Basketball Communications. In this role, he oversees communications strategy, messaging, and publicity as the spokesperson for the Maryland Men’s Basketball team. Previously, Sean spent four seasons as the primary communications contact for the national champion Men’s Lacrosse team and the secondary contact for the Football team. He also worked with the Softball and Volleyball programs during his first stint at Maryland. Sean is a 2012 graduate with a degree in history.

AJ_Francis

A.J. is a former Maryland Football player who is currently a wrestler in the WWE. Right after finishing his playing career at Maryland, he went on to play in the NFL for the Dolphins, Seahawks, and Redskins. During this stint, he established community service initiatives with Sarah’s House, a homeless shelter in Fort Meade, MD. He also works with the Maryland Athletic department to sustain a canned food drive across campus each year. A.J. graduated in 2011 with a degree in Government & Politics and in 2016 he obtained his Master’s in Public Policy.

Danny Golden is the producer of the popular nightly talk show DC Sports Live on NBC Sports Washington. He previously worked for the NFL Network in Los Angeles as a production assistant. He is a season ticket holder for Football and Men’s Basketball with his father who also graduated from the University of Maryland. As a student, Danny worked as a sports broadcaster for WMUC where he was able to travel to various Maryland Athletics road games as a radio broadcaster. Danny graduated in 2014 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Mark is a pharmacist at Professional Pharmacy in Rosedale, MD. He provides counseling, medication therapy management, and exceptional patient care on a daily basis. He is an advocate for community wellness and regularly does outreach visits to senior care facilities as well as holds vaccine clinics in the community. Mark is a 2013 graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Chemistry. He also attended the UMD School of Pharmacy to obtain his PharmD and the University of Baltimore for his MBA.

Cross Klemko is a seasonal athletic trainer with the New England Patriots where he works tirelessly to insure the health and safety of its athletes. Prior to this position, he spent time interning with the Buffalo Bills doing similar work. Cross earned his degree in Kinesiology in College Park in 2016, before attending Texas A&M for his M.S. in Athletic Training. Cross gew up a Maryland Terrapin fan as his family has held season tickets in both basketball and football for over 20 years.

MJ Kurs-Lasky is the Assistant Director at Maryland Hillel. In this role, he oversees the engagement team, runs leadership programming, and works with students across campus. Before working at Maryland Hillel, MJ led social media and marketing efforts at KaBOOM!, a non-profit organization that builds playgrounds in low-income communities. MJ is a 2010 graduate with a degree in marketing. He has been a Maryland Men’s Basketball season ticket holder since graduation.

Emily Y. Li is a research chemist who works at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Office of Research & Development. She develops machine learning methods to enhance and accelerate the analysis of contaminants produced from wildfires and fuel combustion. She has previously worked at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory and Brookhaven National Laboratory. Emily has been a mentor in the UMD Gemstone Alumni Mentor & Partner Program since 2017. She graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, and obtained her Master of Science in Physical Chemistry in 2016.

Andrew_Magee

Andrew Magee is the Assistant Athletic Director for Football Administration at Morgan State University. In this role, Andrew is involved with many aspects of the Morgan State Athletic department including academics and corporate sponsorships. Andrew started his college career at UCLA where he played football before transferring to Maryland to play tennis. Magee graduated in 2013 with a degree in English before going on to attend Texas A&M for his Master’s of Public Administration.

Ali_Mazurek

Ali Mazurek specializes in building enclosure engineering at Simpson Gumpertz and Heger, where she consults on designs for new construction, develops rehabilitation programs for existing structures, and investigates performance issues. Ali has worked on many interesting projects such as the Pentagon and UMD’s Biology-Psychology building. She holds positions with The Association of Preservation Technology (APT) Greater Washington Region and was awarded APT 2019 Key Volunteer in recognition of exceptional chapter involvement and ongoing volunteer efforts. While she was a student at UMD, Ali served as a Clark School Ambassador and visited high schools and college fairs to represent the engineering department. Ali graduated in 2016 with a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Engineering Leadership Development.

Bria Mitchell currently works for the NFL Players Association as the Coordinator of Licensing and Business Development. In this role, Bria manages the day-to-day relationship and correspondence with licensee accounts. Prior to this, Bria spent time working with the Washington Redskins as the Manager of Hospitality and Premium Services. A 2015 graduate with a degree in Communication/Public Relations, Bria is a proud former cheerleader for the Terps and frequently sheds light on the great community work of Maryland Football alumni through the NFLPA platform.

Joseph Oudin works as a researcher for the Global Terrorism Database at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism. Joe teaches a 120-student class every fall semester at UMD called “States of Emergency,” where he covers how communities respond to natural and terrorist-caused disasters at the national, state, and local levels. Joe completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at UMD, and was a campus tour guide. Joe is a Terrapin Club donor and holds season tickets for Men’s Basketball.

Alison Pastor is a digital marketing professional at Accenture. In addition to her day-to-day marketing role, she seeks out opportunities to combine her expertise in marketing with her passion for volunteering. She serves as a mentor to new employees and those considering job offers and helps employees develop their professional presence on social media by hosting group and one-on-one trainings on personal branding. Alison graduated from Maryland with a degree in Biological Science in 2014, and is a lifetime member of the Alumni Association. Alison also volunteers as a board member for the New York Terps Alumni Network and is part of the steering committee to develop the University of Maryland Women Alumnae group in NYC.

Andrew Roberts is the University Fire Marshal and the Chief Fire Protection Manager for the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He constantly strives to ensure the safety of others through engineering, education, and code enforcement. Andrew is on the MD State Fire Marshals Committee to share ideas with other fire marshals throughout the state and also volunteers on the UMD Fire Protection Engineering Curriculum Advisory Committee. Andrew received both his Bachelor’s (2012) and Master’s (2015) in Fire Protection Engineering.

Abdo Roffe works for Coba Properties, a DC real estate development and investment company, where he currently serves as a Development Manager overseeing all residential and mixed-use projects in the company's pipeline. A current Men’s Basketball season ticket holder, he has rarely missed a game during his time at the University of Maryland or in the six years post-graduation. As a past member of the executive board of his fraternity, AEPi, Abdo volunteers to assist students throughout the University who are interested in a career in real estate. He graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and received a Masters from Georgetown University in Real Estate Development in 2016.

Mike Santini is the current Director of Research & Development at Prospector Theater, a non-profit in Connecticut dedicated to providing meaningful employment to people with disabilities through the operation of a first-run movie theater. Prior to this, Mike worked at Words Beats Life, a non-profit in D.C. that transforms communities through hip-hop. Mike graduated from the University of Maryland in 2013 with a degree in Spanish and American Studies.

Eric Savir currently works for One Real Estate Investment in Miami, Florida where he oversees the firm’s capital markets and debt placement division. Prior to Eric’s five years in the commercial real estate industry, he spent his time in College Park working as a student athletic trainer for the Maryland Women’s Lacrosse Team. He credits much of his perseverance and work ethic to role models such as Head Coach Cathy Reese and current athletic trainer Allie Boll. Outside of work, Savir is involved with the Jewish Federation and Alzheimer’s Association, both organizations which hold a special place in his heart. Eric graduated from the University of Maryland in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and obtained his MBA from the University of Florida in 2015. He currently lives in Fort Lauderdale with his wife, Marissa.

Lauren works for Epic, the nations leading healthcare software company. In her role, she travels throughout the country assisting hospitals in the implementation and use of these systems that are critical in patient care. During her time at Maryland, Lauren was accepted into the Scholars’ Program, a member of ODK, and completed a double major in Multiplatform Journalism and Government and Politics in 2015.

Taylor Smyth works for Maryland Athletics as an Assistant Director of Strategic Communications. Taylor covers all media aspects for the national championship Men’s Soccer team and assists with the athletic department’s social media efforts. He served as the voice for this year’s homecoming video and is also the co-host of the very popular podcast, Hear the Turtle. Taylor began his career as a student assistant in the athletic department and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in History in 2014.

Daniel Trettel is currently a second year PhD Graduate Student in Biochemistry at the University of Maryland, where he also serves as a Teaching Assistant in the Chemistry department. Daniel impacts students daily as a UMD iGem Team graduate student advisor. In this role, Daniel helps the University's internationally competitive iGem team to tackle synthetic biology problems. A former standout Maryland Track and Field student-athlete, Daniel graduated in 2016 with a degree in Biochemistry.

BROOKE CABRERA '14

Brooke Cabrera is a Vice President - Market Director of Real Estate at JPMorgan Chase & Company. She lives in New York City and negotiates the leases for all branch and ATM locations in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire for Chase Bank. In her free time, Brooke volunteers for The United Way Young Leaders Council of New York City as an Executive Committee Member. She continues her relationship with the University of Maryland as the Board President of New York Terps, a member of The M Club, and a Terrapin Club donor. Brooke was also a two-time NCAA National Champion on the Field Hockey team. Majored in Communication.

KERRI CONNOLLY COSTELLO '11

Kerri Connolly Costello is currently a Player Development Representative for the Acushnet Company (Titleist & FootJoy). In this role, she works with elite junior, college, amateur, and post-graduate female golfers across the globe. She has been in this role for the past six years. Kerri continues to support the women’s golf team at Maryland, of which she was a student-athlete during her time on campus. Kerri has also continued to stay connected with her Alma Mater as a Terrapin Club donor. Majored in Communication.

YANNIK CUDJOE-VIRGIL '14

Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil is a Real Estate Investor and Asset Manager for Merlynn Acquisitions. Though this experience, he has partnered with, helped, and consulted countless Maryland alumni for buying and investing in properties throughout Maryland and other cities. After playing football for three years at the University of Maryland, Yannik went on to play in the NFL for the Tennessee Titans. He is passionate about giving back to the underserved communities in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. Majored in Kinesiology.

JOSEPH CRISCUOLI '13

Joseph Criscuoli has been teaching Middle School Social Studies for 4 years at Holy Redeemer School in Montgomery County. He spends hours planning to make sure his students are engaged in activities and lessons, which makes him a valued and fun educator. He is also in charge of the Safety Patrols, Student Government, and National Geographic Geography Bee Competition. Joseph proudly promotes the University of Maryland to his students and annually contributes to the Terrapin Club. Majored in History and minored in Secondary Education.

PAUL CUSUMANO '12

Paul Cusumano is an Associate for Morgan Stanley’s Baltimore offices, where he has received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. In his role, he has had the opportunity to mentor many Maryland graduates as interns and new employees. Paul continues to support Maryland as a Terrapin Club donor and football season-ticket holder. Majored in Finance.

LIBBY ELLIS '12

Libby Ellis is the Director of Basketball Operations for the Maryland Women’s Basketball team. She spent her four undergraduate years working as a team manager for the Women’s Basketball program. As a senior, she was promoted to Director of Operations Intern. Libby’s commitment to the University of Maryland, and the student-athletes she serves, is unparalleled. Libby is also a Terrapin Club donor. Majored in Kinesiology.

LAWRENCE "LARRY" ENT '15

Lawrence “Larry” Ent worked at Clark Construction Group. Immediately upon his hiring, he was assigned to work on the University’s A. James Clark Hall, and he played an integral part in the completion of this project. Larry tragically passed away from a heart attack in April of 2018 at the age of 25. Receiving the recognition on Larry’s behalf is his fiancé, Gabby. Majored in Mechanical Engineering.

DYLAN FRENCH '15

Dylan French works for Monumental Sports in Washington, D.C. At Monumental Sports, Dylan has helped launch three expansion franchises and the rebranding of a fourth, all with true grassroots marketing efforts. He also organized a fundraiser for military veterans, partnering the Washington Valor football team with the veteran-owned Flags of Valor company. Dylan continues to rep the Terps as a Terrapin Club donor, football season-ticket holder, and men’s basketball season ticket holder. Majored in Economics.

PAMELA GORGEI '14

Pamela Gorgei works at Deloitte as a Corporate Citizenship Specialist. She assists a team in managing a multi-million dollar pro bono budget for public good and manages volunteer opportunities for employees on behalf of Deloitte. In her free time, Pamela tutors youth in the D.C. area, and has personally raised more than $100,000 for the Mid Atlantic chapter of the Make-a-Wish foundation. Pamela continues her relationship with the University of Maryland as a Terrapin Club donor. Majored in Chemistry.

STEVEN GORGEI '11

Steven Gorgei works as an E-Commerce Manager at The Home Depot's Store Support Center. He volunteers to mentor new members of his team, helping them to adjust to their new professional environment. Through his work at Home Depot, Steven helps in the rebuilding and restoration of homes and community centers, in addition to working with the Toys for Tots charity. Although he lives in Atlanta, Steven frequently travels to games to support Maryland Athletics and donates annually to the Terrapin Club. Majored in Marketing and Supply Chain and Minored in Italian.

STEPHANIE GROFF '13

Stephanie Groff is an Associate Legal Adviser for the Department of Homeland Security and works on various appellate immigration law cases. Previously, she worked for the Department of Justice through the Attorney General Honors Program at the Los Angeles Immigration Court with the Executive Office for Immigration Review. During law school she interned with the Department of Justice’s Office of Immigration Litigation, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Department of Homeland Security Office of the General Counsel, where she worked on civil rights litigation. Stephanie maintains a lifelong commitment to the University of Maryland as the President of the Montgomery County Terps Alumni Network, a board member for the Terrapin Club Young Alumni committee, and a Terrapin Club donor. Majored in Government and Politics and History.

Janota

KATHLEEN JANOTA '15

Kathleen Janota is employed at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery where she is currently working with 5,400 glass plate negatives from the Mathew Brady Studio in the Civil War and making sure that they are properly documented. She also works as a collections contractor at the International Spy Museum. She does all this so that future generations will be able to go to these museums and study and learn about the subjects on display. Majored in History and Art History.

Sarah Jesse is a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force as well as a female missler. During her time at the University of Maryland, Sarah was a part of the CIVICUS and AFROTC programs. Majored in History.

Martir

KEVIN MARTIR '18

Kevin Martir was an All-American catcher at Maryland, and was selected by the Houston Astros on the 18th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Kevin would go on to play several seasons of Minor League Baseball. He is currently a Minor League coach and he even continues to assist the Maryland baseball team in an effort to help out potential future MLB players. Kevin generously continues to donate to the Terrapin Club. Majored in Family Science.

Mates

JESSE MATES '13

Jesse Mates is a multifamily and development site investment sales broker for Marcus & Millichap, a national commercial real estate firm. He also volunteers much of his time to teach financial literacy to the youth along with coaching youth baseball. Jesse stays involved with Maryland Athletics as a Men’s Basketball season ticket holder and Terrapin Club donor. Growing up, he attended Men’s Basketball games as a ball boy sitting beneath the basket. Majored in Kinesiology and minored in Human Development.

Mcdowell

JOHN F. MCDOWELL III '11

John F. McDowell III currently serves in the United States Air Force. He was selected to attend US Air Force Officer Training school shortly after graduating. After completion of the program, John was selected for Air Force Special Operations Command as a Combat Systems Officer on the AC-130W Spectre Gunship. Majored in Criminology and Criminal Justice and minored in Military Studies.

Miller

RYAN MILLER '12

Ryan Miller is a managing director at global real estate firm Savills Studley, where he specializes in representing tenants and users of commercial space. In addition to his professional work, Ryan is heavily involved with Living Classrooms Foundation’s Leadership Council, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School’s Leadership Advisory Council and Junior Achievement of Central Maryland’s Associate Leadership Council. In these various roles, he assists with fundraising efforts, event planning and mission awareness for each organization. In his six-year career, Ryan has already been recognized as a Living Classrooms Foundation Rising Star (2016), Baltimore Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree (2017) and Junior Achievement Volunteer of the Year (2018). After graduating from the Robert H. Smith School of Business with a business management degree in 2012, Ryan has continued to stay involved with the university through visits to the Smith School, affiliation with the alumni association and attendance at various sporting events. Ryan really prides himself on connecting with fellow Terps and constantly offers to speak with current college students who are interested in getting into the commercial real estate industry.

Mottes

MICHAEL MOTTES '11

Michael Mottes works as a Manger of Financial Planning and Analysis at MicroStrategy. He previously worked with Deloitte Consulting supporting U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) projects in Nigeria, Kenya, and South Sudan. During his time in Africa, Michael organized a number of events providing for the local communities. Michael has no shortage of Maryland pride that manifests in many ways including a license plate which reads TRPS11. Michael displays his Maryland Pride as a season-ticket holder for Men’s Basketball and Football, in addition to being a Terrapin Club donor. Majored in Finance.

NICK ORBAN '13, '19

Nick Orban has worked in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at UMD for the past six years to find the next generations of Terps. SAMANTHA QUINN '19

Samantha Quinn is a senior at Maryland majoring in Accounting and Information Systems. In addition to being a student, Samantha works as a business tutor for student-athletes to make sure they are all prepared and can get the help they need. This past summer she completed an internship at Ernst & Young that took her across the country working in different EY offices. Samantha has already accepted a full-time position at EY starting after this school year, and is looking to pursue a career in audit. Majoring in Accounting and Information Systems.

Jessica Roffe works as a program manager for the Robert H. Smith School of Business. She specifically works with the award-winning QUEST Honors Program that brings together business, engineering, and science students to do hands-on projects. In her role, Jessica has transformed the student experience for 500+ University of Maryland students through teaching and advising students and student-run organizations. Majored in Psychology.

Krista Scanlan works as a teacher. As a teacher, Krista utilizes resources such as guest speakers to teach life lessons to her students. MIKE SCHEELER '13

Mike Scheeler is a Financial Advisor with Avenue Wealth, a wealth management firm under New York Life. He has clients in over 19 states, primarily Virginia, Maryland and DC. Mike is a five time New York Life Executive Council Member and a three time Million Dollar Round Table Member. He was recently elected to the New York Life Agents Advisory Council representing 12,000 agents around the country and is responsible for creating programs that support their agents’ efforts in the community and provide input into the future of the company. Mike donates his time coaching lacrosse in the Baltimore and Northern Virginia areas as well as helping student athletes utilize the premier educational offerings of the University and planning for the future after their playing days. He also supports Camp Fantastic, a weeklong camp for children fighting cancer in the Maryland, Washington and Virginia area by sponsoring and participating in the Camp Fantastic Golf Open and Camp Fantastic Cancer Run. Mike continues his relationship with the University as a Terrapin Club Donor and Alumni Association member. Mike was part of the 2011 ACC champion men’s lacrosse team while at Maryland and majored in American Studies.

NATALIE SCHEELER '15

Natalie Scheeler is currently in her third year of Naturopathic Medical School with a focus on Community Medicine. She is involved in the community through volunteering for Terps Against Hunger, organizing an annual run benefiting the One Love Foundation and House of Ruth, as well as serving the global community through service work in Haiti and through helping serve low resource communities with Naturopaths without Borders in Thailand. While at Maryland in 2011, she and others helped co-found the Student Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund. She is also an active Terrapin Club Young Alumni and a Terrapin Club donor. Tyler Schepers currently works for M&T Bank. He also is the president of the Annapolis Chapter of the Alumni Association. Through this he coordinates events to bring the Alumni community together, organizes community service events, and drives participation in local events such as Wreaths Across America. David Stewart currently works for Towson University as the Coordinator of Intramural Sports. David earned a Master's of Arts in Professional Studies from Towson University in 2016. During undergrad at Maryland, David worked with intramural sports. He joined the Terrapin Club upon graduating and has had Men’s Basketball season tickets for the past 4 season. Doron Tamari works at the Big Ten Conference offices in Chicago, IL where he oversees championship marketing efforts and acts as a resource for athletics marketing and development offices. He is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA), the Chicago Terps board, and served on the Alumni Association Scholarship Selection Committee. Doron frequently makes trips to College Park to give talks to prospective students about working in the sports industry in-person and is a Terrapin Club Donor. Majored in Marketing and International Business.

Washington

MIKE WASHINGTON '15

Mike Washington is currently a Footwear Product Line Manager for Under Armour. He began his career as an intern in the Sports Marketing department following his stint as a University of Maryland Football Player. During that time, he assisted in athlete recruiting and played a large role in the signing of NFL players Stefon Diggs, Sean Davis and Yannick Ngakoue (all former teammates of his at Maryland). Mike then secured a full-time job following his internship presentation to marketing executives on efforts to boost UA’s lifestyle brand. He built his foundation in customer service and marketing roles before being promoted to his dream job in product creation. He is responsible for overseeing the entire footwear product life cycle for all 32 NFL teams and contracted NCAA football programs (Including the University of Maryland Terrapins). Mike’s most highly anticipated work is in his weekly designs of former league MVP Cam Newton’s pregame cleats. Current projects include the annual UA All-America game and the NFL Combine. Majored in Economics.

JOHN WRIGHT '15

John Wright currently works for Contech Engineered Solutions in Hanover, Maryland as the Team Lead. He works designing stormwater systems for construction sites. He has been innovative in his field by creating a novel application of the company's resources that is environmentally improved. His idea has been appreciated by his company and adapted for application in other states. He is an active member in the Phi Sigma Kappa - Eta Alumni Association at UMD and provides guidance to the current undergraduate members and volunteers for Special Olympics Maryland including Phi Sigma Kappa's annual events to benefit SOMD. John is a third generation Terrapin and holds season tickets for football and men’s basketball and is a Terrapin Club Donor. Majored in Civil Engineering.

WILLIAM ZIMMERMAN II '12

William Zimmerman is an Enterprise Account Manager at RSA Security, a Dell Technologies company. In this position he manages RSA’s relationships with the largest commercial businesses in the Mid-Atlantic Region. When he was 13 years old he started his own landscaping company, which he successfully ran and operated for 9 years. He grew the company while maintaining an excellent GPA in both high school and college. After college, he sold his company to focus on his career in sales. Recently, he has returned to campus to speak at Smith School alumni functions. He is also a season ticket holder for football and basketball and is a Terrapin Club Donor.
