WHO WE ARE
In alignment with the Big Ten Conference, University of Maryland Athletics announced the launch of its "VoTERP" initiative on July 23, 2020, a student-athlete and staff-led campaign developed to provide Maryland student-athletes and staff with non-partisan resources to educate, activate and vote.WHAT WE DO
The “VoTERP” group is split into two factions: the education committee and the activation committee. The education side is focused on educating both student-athletes and athletics staff on the entire electoral process from individual policy to voting history in the United States to the electoral college. On the flip side, the activation committee is primarily focused on providing resources for student-athletes and staff to become registered to vote and thereafter, to vote via mail or in-person as election day nears.VOTE AT XFINITY CENTER
