Dynamic Pricing FAQ

What is Dynamic Pricing?
Dynamic pricing is the continuous adjustment of ticket prices based on factors such as available inventory, opponent, team performance and weather. It is widely used by professional sports organizations as well as some Power 5 schools.
Will Dynamic Pricing affect me if I am a Terrapin Club member?
Dynamic Pricing will not affect a Terrapin Club member’s priority purchasing window, adding value to the membership. The best way to ensure that you get the best prices for football and men's basketball is by purchasing season tickets and becoming a Terrapin Club member.
Will this affect season ticket prices?
No. Dynamic Pricing will apply only to single-game prices. Maryland season ticket holders are always guaranteed to pay the lowest price.
Will this affect Mini-Pack prices?
No. Mini-Pack prices will not be subject to price increases.
What is the best way to know the current prices?
Ticket prices may change at any time. The Terrapin Ticket Office (800-462-TERP) and the ticket-purchasing website will always have the most up-to-date pricing.
Will there only be one dynamic price?
No. Prices can vary by category (Midfield, Lower Sideline, 200 & 300 Levels).
How do I know I am getting the best price?
Purchasing season tickets is the only way to guarantee you are getting the best price. For single game tickets, fans are encouraged to buy early, as prices will only increase.
Will dynamic pricing affect special promotional pricing?
No. Promotional pricing for theme games such as Youth Day, Band Day, & Faculty/Staff Appreciation will not be affected and will remain fixed.
How will this affect future ticket pricing?
Moving forward, dynamic pricing data will be used to help formulate future single game ticket prices to be more competitive with the secondary market.
