Gameday Staff
About the Role
The Gameday Staff position is a customer service and event set-up focused role. As Gameday Staff you will set up for different sports in preparation for gamedays and events as well as working the events and any needs that occur throughout. You are able to set your own schedule, and pick what shifts work best for your schedule. You will also be representing Maryland Athletics, representing the University with the highest standards of professionalism, precision, and communication.

Responsibilities
- Setting up and breaking down the different Athletic Facilities in preparation for gamedays and events
- Keeping all of the Athletic Facilities in good working condition and neat
- Understand and apply Maryland Athletics policies and procedures
- Being fan first and exhibiting customer service on a gameday
- Being able to follow directions; verbal, written, and pictures
- Represent the University of Maryland Athletics with pride, professionalism, and happiness
Job Expectations

- Work a minimum number of required sports and events as outlined in the employee handbook
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Arrive on time for each shift
- Consistently demonstrate satisfactory job performance
- Follow instructions and guidance from supervisors, managers, and full-time staff
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (valid identity work eligibility documents required)
- Must become a University of Maryland employee
