  • Has one sister, Merle Donraadt
  • Mother has played hockey for 40 years and played at the highest national league in The Netherlands and the Europe Cup
  • Father was on the Dutch Ski team and competed in the biathlon world cup
  • Chose Maryland because she wanted to play hockey at the highest level, loved the environment, culture and the coaching staff
  • Lists hockey players Luciana Aymar and Jamie Dwyer as her sports heroines
  • Wears No. 12 because her favorite soccer club from the Netherlands is Feyenoord (in Rotterdam). ‘’At Feyenoord, No. 12 is reserved for Het Legioen (the club supporters). I wear 12 to show that our fans are important for us.”
