Mike Neuberger is in his second season as a graduate assistant with Maryland, joining the staff in February, 2009.
Neuberger spent the previous three seasons on the staff at the University of Dayton. He has experience on both sides of the ball, serving as the Flyers' tight ends and slot receivers coach and suiting up as a defensive back.
Neuberger played four seasons (2001-04) in the secondary and on special teams at UD. He was a member of two Pioneer Football League championship teams and during his sophomore season, the Flyers won their first I-AA Mid-Major national championship. He was a two-time member of the PFL Academic Honor Roll.
He completed his degree in physical education in 2005, serving as a student assistant coach before becoming a full-time assistant.
