As a Redshirt Senior (2022): Stands second in program history in career 100-yard games (7), fifth in career touchdowns (14), seventh in career yards (2,008) and ninth in career receptions (125) ... Has a catch in 37 of the last 38 games he's played in ... Appeared in 12 games, Caught 22 passes for 233 yards, averaged 10.59 yards per reception, and caught one touchdown ... Led the Terps with five receptions for 67 yards including a 34-yard reception vs. #2 Ohio State (11/19) ... Caught a 17-yard touchdown to open the second half scoring at Indiana (10/15), tying Stefon Diggs for career receiving TDs at Maryland with 14 ... Recorded two catches for 40 yards including a 35-yard reception on the Terps opening scoring drive vs. Purdue (10/8) ... As a Senior (2021): Started first five games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury vs. #5 Iowa (10/1) ... Totaled  28 receptions for 507 yards and three touchdowns in just five games ... At the time of his injury, Demus Jr. led the Big Ten and stood 11th in the country in receiving yards and ranked third in the conference in both receptions per game (5.6) and sixth in touchdowns ... Had the most receiving yards in the first four games of the season by a Terp since Jermaine Lewis had 617 through the first four games of the 1993 season ... At time of injury, had caught a pass in 25 straight games, the 14th-longest reception streak in the country and fourth longest in Big Ten ... Posted seventh 100-yard receiving game of career with four receptions for 108 yards and a 33-yard touchdown in the first quarter against Kent State (9/25) ... Led Maryland with eight receptions for 77 yards in win at Illinois (9/17) ... Tallied a career-best 114 yards on six receptions including a 43-yard touchdown at #12 Indiana (11/28) ... Caught a season-long 56 yard pass from QB Tyrell Pigrome to set up a Maryland field goal vs. #9 Ohio State (11/17) ... Grabbed a career-best four balls for 98 yards at Indiana (11/10), including a nifty 51 yard catch on Maryland's go-ahead touchdown drive in the fourth quarter ... Posted two receptions for 69 yards, including a 52 yard catch vs. Illinois (10/27) ... Caught first pass of his career with a five yard reception vs. Minnesota (9/22). 

Before Maryland: A consensus 3-star recruit across all major recruiting outlets … rated the ninth overall player in D.C. by 247sports.com and ESPN … a Second Team All-Metro selection as a senior, posting 66 catches for 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns … helped lead Friendship Collegiate to an 8-4 record and a trip to the DCSAA Class AA championship game in 2017 … selected Maryland over Michigan State and Wisconsin, among others …  coached by Mike Hunter.
