  • Three-star recruit according to 247 Sports, ESPN & Rivals
  • Top-30 dual-threat QB via ESPN
  • In 2022, threw for 1,413 yards and 17 touchdowns & ran for 225 yards and three touchdowns during sophomore season at Manvel High School (TX)
  • Received first offer as an eighth grader 
  • Son of longtime NFL quarterback coach Pep Hamilton, who has mentored players including Andrew Luck and Justin Herbert
  • Father Pep played quarterback at Howard University from 1993-1996 
  • Chose Maryland over Houston, Texas A&M & Vanderbilt
