As a Freshman (2025):
  • Saw action in 11 of 12 games during his true freshman season, primarily on special teams. 
Before Maryland:
  • Three-star recruit according to 247 Sports, ESPN and Rivals
  • 31st-ranked tight end nationally according to ESPN
  • Multi-sport athlete, playing basketball and volleyball along with football in HS
  • Spent first two seasons at American Heritage (FL) before transferring into Calvert Hall 
  • Chose Maryland over Miami, West Virginia & Colorado
Personal: 
  • Father is Willie Taggart, current Baltimore Ravens RB coach who has also been the Head Coach at FAU, FSU, Oregon and USF
  • Brother Willie Taggart Jr., played QB at FAU and Western Kentucky
  • His favorite hobbies are content creation and gaming
  • His favorite fruits are watermelon, pineapple, and purple grapes
