Spring 2019: Played in two events for Maryland…shot a 229 (77-75-77) in the spring opener, the Puerto Rico Classic…earned a score of 230 (76-76-78), which was +14, in the Schenkel Invitational.
Fall 2018: Competed in all four events for the Terrapins…shot a 75 or lower in 10 of 11 rounds and averaged 72.27…tied for 24th at The Invitational at the Ocean Course with a score of 148 (75-73), which was +4…earned a 216 (75-70-71), which was +6, at the Old Town Club Collegiate…shot a 218 (77-67-74), which was +2, at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate…led the team and tied for 17th at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational with his score of 213 (75-69-69), which was three strokes under par.
Spring 2018: Competed in all five events for the Terps...scored 233 (76-77-80), which was +20 in the Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 18-20)...earned a score of 224 (76-77-80, which was only +8 in the Tiger Invitational (Mar. 4-6)...tied for 26th in the Ryman hospitality Intercollegiate with a score of 224 (73-80-71), which was +11 (Apr. 9-10)...went 222 (75-70-77), which was only +6 in the Stitch Golf Intercollegiate (Apr 13-15)...earned a score of 230 (75-75-80), which was +20 at the Big Ten Championships (Apr. 27-29).
Fall 2017: Competed in all five events for the Terrapins...finished tied for 24th in Maryland debut at the Janney VCU Shootout...earned score of 216 (74-73-69), which was even (Sept. 18-19)...tied for 13th with score of 215 (72-74-69), which was -1, at the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate (Oct. 2-3)...tied for 10th with score of 209 (72-67-70), which was seven under, in Tar Heel Intercollegiate (Oct. 8-9)...earned a score of 219 (71-75-73), which was +3, in the Quail Valley Intercollegiate (Oct. 23-24)...shot a 225 (77-71-77), which was +9, in The Battle at Stono Ferry (Nov. 3-4).
Before Maryland: Spent freshman year in 2015-16 season at Penn State...played in Big Ten Match Play and Rutherford Intercollegiate as an individual...went to DeMatha Catholic...won the 2016 WMBA Metropolitan Amateur tournament.
Personal: Parents are Don and Karen Santa...has one sister, Madelyn...lists Arnold Palmer as his sports hero...came to Maryland so he could "academically and athletically reach long term goals"...American studies major.
