Biography

The Breakdown: A starter for the Terps since his redshirt freshman season, Richardson emerged as the best right back in the country in 2022, bringing offensive threat and dependable defending to the Terps’ right flank. Richardson is a tireless worker who flies into attacking positions to deliver service. The Baltimore native is a strong 1v1 defender who works tirelessly on the defensive end. A versatile player, Richardson played every game in 2019 for Maryland in the midfield at the six (2020 MLS Draftee Ben Di Rosa was at right back) and has also played center back in his career.
