Biography
The Breakdown: An electric wing player, Bin burst onto the scene in 2018 as a key cog in the Terps' national title winning machine. The South Korea native is adept at breaking down players one-on-one along with providing service to forwards in the box. Bin's four goals combined with his high energy style has made him a fan favorite in College Park.Â

As a Junior (2018): Appeared in 21 matches and started 19 for Maryland's National Championship squad...scored four goals and added three assists...notched a pair of game winning goals...scored his first career goal against Wisconsin (9/21)...notched a pair of assists at Coastal Carolina (9/30)...tallied a goal at Indiana (10/12)...scored the winner against Denver (10/16)...notched the overtime winner against Penn State (10/23)...nabbed an assist in the Terps Elite Eight win at Duke (11/24)...started the College Cup semis against Indiana (12/7) and the final against Akron (12/9)...showed well during Maryland's spring tour of England, tallying five goals.
As a Sophomore (2017): Appeared in eight matches...played in Maryland's wins over Cal Poly (9/4), Rutgers (9/12), at Penn State (9/17), Northwestern (9/29), at UConn (10/2), at Ohio State (10/6) and at Wisconsin (10/13)...played a season high 33 minutes against VCU (10/24).
As a Freshman (2015): Has appeared in 11 matches...contributed to a 0-0 tie against #4 Notre Dame (8/28) and played a role in a 2-1 victory over #1 UCLA (9/4)...helped defense secure shutouts vs. St. John's (8/30), Michigan (9/11), Navy (9/14), Michigan State (9/18), Villanova (10/5) and Indiana (10/16).
Before Maryland: Comes to Maryland from one of the top youth academies, Real Salt Lake AZ...RSL AZ has produced countless top college players, as well as professional players for parent club, Real Salt Lake...Bin has been a key contributor for RSL AZ record-setting season in the US Soccer Academy...Originally from South Korea, Bin lived in London before residing in Arizona during his high school career...Bin has also been involved with the South Korean Youth National Team program in recent years.
