Alisha Moreno returned to Maryland as she was hired as an Intake Coordinator in February 2021. In November of the same year, she was promoted to her current role as Program Management Specialist. She enter her fifth school year since returning with Maryland in 2024-25.

In Moreno's first stint with Maryland, she worked as an Administrative Assistant from 2005-11 at the university's biotechnology institute. From 2011-20, Moreno worked at Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, holding titles as Executive assistant and Meeting and Conference Coordinator.

Moreno earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication from University of Maryland's Global Campus.
