Beth Deskins joined the Terrapin Club Staff in 2003 after spending two years as the Director of Basketball Operations for the University of Maryland Women’s Basketball program. She enters he 21st year with the Terrapin Club Staff in 2024.
Deskins is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University with a degree in education. She began her career coaching at the high school level at Clover High School in Clover, South Carolina, where she also taught mathematics. In 1996, Deskins headed to West Virginia Wesleyan College and earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration while an assistant coach for women’s basketball.
In 1998, Deskins moved to Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan, where she was an assistant coach before acquiring the position at Maryland in 2000. Beth’s primary duties for the Terrapin Club are suite services and donor and prospect management.
