Brian Ford was hired as an equipment manager for Maryland athletics in November 2021. He enters his fourth school year with the equipment department in 2024-25, holding the title of Assistant Equipment Manager.
Prior to Maryland, Ford worked as a Clubhouse Manager for the Frederick Keys. He was responsible for maintaining and tracking an accurate inventory of Baltimore Orioles issued equipment. He also worked in baseball operations for Ripken Baseball from 2007-11.
Ford earned his Bachelor of Science studying Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies at Clemson University. While a student, he interned with their equipment department coordinating and implementing logistics for all practice and game day baseball operations.
