Donald Gayle joined Maryland Athletics IT in April 2016 as an IT Coordinator. He was responsible for delivering technology support to the athletics staff, coaches and student athletes.
Gayle was promoted in 2018 to senior systems engineer, where his focus is now more on managing the wireless networks in stadium/arena and suites, as well as other enterprise technologies.
Prior to Maryland, Gayle was an IT consultant at New Signature (Microsoft US partner of the Year - 2015), where he served several small businesses in the DC area.
Gayle is a University of Maryland graduate, having earned his Bachelor's of Science in computer science with a minor in mathematics in 2013.
