University of Maryland Athletics

Gabrielle Steed was hired as a Development Assistant in June 2024. She enters her first school year in that role in 2024-25.

Steed is a graduate of the University of Maryland, majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Business. While a student, she interned with the sports medicine department and worked under Maryland gymnastics' athletic trainer, learning skills and techniques on how to treat injured athletes. 

She also interned as a social media assistant and development assistant. Steed managed Maryland Feature Twirlers' social media accounts and helped design content and graphics. As a development assistant intern, Steed worked with the Terrapin Club and M Club, helping to complete daily tasks such as updating member information, answering phone calls, reaching out to potential new members, organizing materials, and more.
