Holly Fisher joined Maryland Athletics as Assistant Director of Human Resources in August 2023, bringing nearly a decade of progressive HR leadership experience across public, private, and non-profit organizations. A SHRM Senior Certified Professional with a Master's in Human Resource Management, she specializes in workforce operations and strategy, employee relations, and compliance.
Prior to Maryland, Fisher served as Staffing Operations Director at an international sporthorse center, where she led full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, training, and workforce development initiatives. She also served as Executive Director of SCORE, growing a start-up nonprofit into a large, diverse community through strategic planning, organizational development, and stakeholder engagement. At Maryland Athletics, she partners with leadership to support a workforce of more than 750 employees and advance people-focused practices that strengthen organizational effectiveness and employee success.
