Kelly Fahey joined the Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund as an Assistant Director of Development in September of 2015. She was promoted to Senior Director of Donor Relations in December 2019. Fahey enters her sixth school year in her current role in 2024-25. 

In her role, Fahey works directly with the annual fund in all marketing, communications, and other strategies to boost our annual scholarship production.

Fahey came to College Park from UMBC, where she served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Development. In her role, she was responsible for all aspects of the development operation including creating innovative strategies to increase annual giving, managing special events, soliciting major gifts, and donor stewardship.

Fahey is a graduate of UMBC, earning her Master's studying Instructional Systems Development and her Bachelor's studying American Studies. She played for the varsity women's lacrosse team and served on their Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
