Nikki Oldakowski Sciannella has served as the Assistant AD for Business Operations at Maryland since July 2022. She was hired to the business office in August 2016 and enters her ninth school year with the department in 2024-25. 

She began her career in intercollegiate athletics at Maryland in 2012, completing a one-year internship in the Athletic Ticket Office.

From 2013-14, Sciannella worked as the coordinator of athletic event and student ticketing at Auburn University, where she was part of the SEC Championship and BCS Championship appearance season. She then worked as the ticket analyst at the University of California, Berkley until returning to Maryland as the coordinator of business operations in August 2016.

Sciannella received her Bachelor’s degree from the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2011. She completed her Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2019.

Sciannella is a native of Paxton, Massachusetts and lives in Bowie, Md., with her husband, two dogs, and two cats.
