Omari DeBerry was Named the Director for Name, Image, and Likness Services at Maryland in April 2024. He enters his first full shcool year in that role in 2024-25.
In his role, DeBerry serves as the main point of contact for Maryland Name, Image, and Likeness. He works closely day-to-day with Maryland student-athletes, coaches, and NIL related partners.
DeBerry is a former lacrosse student-athlete, playing on the Ohio State Men’s Lacrosse team from 2018-21. He graduated from the University as a scholar athlete earning his Bachelor’s degree in Sport Industry and a Master’s degree in Sport Management.
Prior to his role at Maryland, DeBerry served as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development and NIL and Program Manager of Student Athlete Development at Ohio State University.
