Patrick Bedingfield, PGA joined the Maryland women's golf staff in the fall of 2017. He will serve as a volunteer assistant coach.

Bedingfield is currently the Director of Instruction at Bethesda Country Club, a position he's held since 2010. He has been a member of the PGA since 2002 and certified in coaching and teaching since 2015.

Recently, he was named as the Teacher and Coach of the Year in 2021 by the MAPGA. He was named 2005 MAPGA Assistant Professional of the Year and nominated MAPGA Teacher of the Year. Bedingfield was also nominated for the MAPGA Horton Smith Award. In 2013, Golf Digest named him the #2 Ranked Teacher in Maryland and in 2015 and 2017 as the #4 Ranked Teacher in Maryland, and #14 in 2022-23.
