Sam Schuh joined the University of Maryland in summer 2022 and serves as a Resident Athletic Trainer for football.
Schuh was previously at Utah State University where she served as a Resident Athletic Trainer for the football and women's tennis programs. In her time with the football program, Schuh was a part of the 2021 Mountain West Conference championship team.
In 2021, Schuh graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University with her Master of Athletic Training degree. She worked with football and men's and women's soccer. Schuh was also an athlete herself at DWU, being a part of the 2018 NAIA D2 Women's Basketball National Championship team. Schuh also completed a clinical immersion experience at the University of Missouri - Columbia working with the women's basketball and football programs.
Schuh is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and is currently certified in CPR/AED from American Red Cross and HawkGrips (IASTM).
Schuh is originally from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
On Nov. 8 2025, Malik Washington rushed for a career-high 164 yards at Rutgers.
