Sandi Colwell joined the University of Maryland as Anthony Travel Account Manager in 2017. She enters her eighth school year in that role in 2024-25.

Colwell is located on-site and is responsible for the daily travel management of the athletic department administrators, coaches, and student-athletes. Her responsibilities consist of travel planning, vendor negotiations, team travel coordination and quality assurance.

Prior to her position with Anthony Travel, Colwell had previously serviced the University of Maryland campus from 1994-2017 and the athletic department travel from 1994-2012.

Colwell has more than 35 years of experience in university, group, meeting, and corporate travel for many companies and institutions including University of Maryland Baltimore County, Morgan State University, and Coppin State University. She has traveled extensively around the world leading group and personal trips.

Colwell is a Maryland native and her son is a student in the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.
