Sarah Myers joined the Terrapin Club staff as the Assistant Director of Development in November 2024. Her responsibilities include cultivating and soliciting individual donors for Maryland Athletics and its initiatives and priorities.
Prior to Maryland, Sarah worked at Georgetown University as Associate Director of Athletics Engagement & Events. Before Georgetown, Sarah spent two years at Maryland under Women's Basketball Head Coach, Brenda Frese, as Director of Recruiting Operations.
Myers is a 2019 graduate of the University of Maryland where she earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology and played for Coach Frese on the women's basketball team. In that time, the women's basketball team won three Big Ten Championships. Myers went on to receive her MSL degree in Higher Education Law & Compliance at Samford University.
She earned Academic All-Big Ten honors, was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and earned both the Big Ten Sportsmanship and Outstanding Sportsmanship Awards. Myers won the 2019 James F. Kehoe Award for outstanding sportsmanship among Maryland female student-athletes.
