Sierra Snyder started at the University of Maryland as an Assistant Learning Specialist in July 2021. She started full time as an Academic Counselor/Learning Specialist with Football in August 2022 and was promoted to Assistant Director and Director Learning Support in August 2025. In this role, she oversees the Learning Support Services for student athletes as well as being an academic counselor for Football. This coming school year (2026-2027) will be her sixth year with the Terps.
A native of California, Snyder attended Penn State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Human Development & Family Studies and Kinesiology. She then earned her Master's in Kinesiology, focusing on Sport Psychology, from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and watching the Terps!
