Stacey Jones was named Director of Human Resources for Maryland Athletics in March 2023. Jones has been a vital part of Maryland's staff since joining the Terps in February 2022. She enters her fourth school year with Maryland Athletics in 2024-25.
Jones provided outstanding customer service in all areas of human resources since coming onboard and working under former Director of Human Resources Debbie Russell, who retired after nearly 50 years at Maryland in December. In her role, Jones oversees all functions from contract processing, payroll, hiring processing and benefits while also serving as a member of the One Maryland Council.
Jones has 30 years of experience in human resources, including her time at Maryland and in the region, working at AdvanTech in Annapolis from 1993-2022.
