Tegan Engroff was appointed as Maryland’s Assistant Director of Recruitment in April 2024.
Prior to joining the Terrapins, Engroff spent three years at the University of Alabama, initially serving as a Recruiting Specialist, he advanced to the role of Recruiting Analyst, working under coaches Nick Saban and Kalen DeBoer. In these positions, Engroff played a key role in identifying and evaluating top talent, which contributed to Alabama's sustained success on the recruiting trail.
Engroff assisted in helping Alabama secure three consecutive top-2 recruiting classes between 2022 and 2024. Notably, he was part of the team responsible for securing the #1 ranked 2023 recruiting class, as ranked by 247Sports.
In addition to his time at Alabama, Engroff gained valuable professional experience as a training camp intern with the Pittsburgh Steelers in August 2024.
