Timothy Santosa is a Senior IT Systems Analyst and Data Engineer in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Maryland. In this role, Santosa focuses on data engineering and infrastructure supporting all data analytics programs across the athletics department.
Santosa brings over a decade of experience at Maryland Athletics, having previously served as Lead Software Engineer from 2021 to 2025, delivering data analytics and reporting solutions across the entire department. Prior to that, he joined Maryland Athletics in 2015 as an undergraduate student technician, progressing through roles as IT Service Desk Technician, Systems Analyst, and Developer while completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Maryland.
A native of Montgomery County, Md., Santosa was a standout pole vaulter in high school, winning the Maryland 4A outdoor state championship in 2015, the Montgomery County outdoor championship in 2014, and three 4A west regional championships from 2013 to 2014.
