Wes Bordelon joined the Maryland athletics department as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Terrapin football program in March 2019.
Prior to joining Maryland’s staff, Borderlon served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the football team at Colorado State.
From 2015-2018, Bordelon was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Louisiana Tech working with football and serving as the Head strength and conditioning coach for baseball.
Bordelon is a former Olympic weightlifting coach at Gayle Hatch Weightlifting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 2014-2015.
A native of Olla, Louisiana, Bordelon played football at Louisiana College, graduating in 2014.
Bordelon holds certifications in Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting
(USAW), as well as CPR and AED certified.
He is married to Nicole Bordelon from Rancho Cucamonga, California.
