Casey Beyers is in his first season as a volunteer assistant at Maryland after being named to the post in August of 2019. Beyers will take on the role of Maryland's primary goalkeeping coach.Â
Beyers, a Maryland native, played four years of college soccer as a goalkeeper for the University of Wisconsin between 2013 and 2016, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2014.
He went on to play professionally, signing with the Orange County Soccer Club in the United Soccer League in 2017, and recently played for FC Baltimore Christos in the National Premier Soccer League, before joining the Terps for the 2019 season.
Beyers graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
