University of Maryland Athletics

Matt Monroe was promoted to Associate Athletic Director of Donor Experience and Development Operations in July 2023. He enters his second school year in that role in 2024-25. 

Monroe has served in multiple roles in athletics department since joining Maryland in 2008, most recently as the Associate AD of Annual Giving and Ticket Operations for over five years. 

Prior to joining Maryland, Monroe worked as the Assistant AD of Ticketing at Marshall University and Assistant Ticket Manager of University of Pittsburgh. Each of those positions Monroe held for at least four years.  

Monroe earned his degree from Robert Morris University, studying Sport Management.
