Women's Lacrosse Player Honored for Performances Last Week

Maryland freshman Jen Adams was named the ACC Player of the Week for her performances during the week of April 27. This is the Terps' freshman's first such honor and the second week in a row that the Terrapins have garnered the honor. The Australia native scored the game-winner with 53 seconds remaining to help the Terps beat the Princeton Tigers (12-11), and also recorded a hat trick as the third-ranked Terrapins turned back Loyola, 13-9 on Sunday.
Maryland improves to 15-3 overall and hosts the winner of the William & Mary at James Madison first-round matchup on Saturday, May 9 at 1 p.m.
