COLLEGE PARK, Md.- Maryland senior midfielder Sascha Newmarch was named College Lacrosse USA Division I Woman Player of the Year. She was selected by nearly 1,000 readers of College Lacrosse USA.

The West Lakes, Australia native led the Terrapins to their fourth consecutive national championship. She registered 48 goals and 42 assists for 90 points on the year.
