COLLEGE PARK, Md. - William & Mary junior midfielder Brian Hinkey scored on a penalty kick off a Keith Beach foul at the 52:42 mark to lead the Tribe to a 1-0 win against the 18th-ranked Maryland Terrapins Saturday night at Ludwig Field. The loss drops the Terps to 9-5 overall, while William & Mary improves to 7-5-1.
The Terps had several scoring opportunities as they outshot the Tribe, 19-5, but it was Tribe goalkeeper Adin Brown who put a halt to all of the Terps' opportunities. Brown posted six saves in goal while Maryland's Christian Lewis totaled two.
