MARYLAND: Maryland enters tonight's game with an overall record of 13-10 and a conference mark of 6-7. Tonight's contest marks the third of four consecutive games against a ranked opponent for the Terps. Maryland lost to 13th-ranked Virginia, 47-45, and to 21st-ranked Clemson, 74-70 in overtime last Thursday. The Clemson game marked the second overtime contest in the Terps' last three as Maryland defeated Wake Forest, 56-52, in overtime in Winston-Salem. The Terps' fourth consecutive game against a ranked opponent comes on Friday, Feb. 20, when Maryland travels to Chapel Hill, N.C., to play the Tar Heels.
NC STATE: NC State enters tonight's game with an overall record of 19-4 and a conference mark of 10-3. State defeated Virginia, 70-63, in its last game and has won four of its last five. Chasity Melvin leads the Wolfpack in scoring with an average of 15.7 points per game, and LySchale Jones averages 11.7 points per game. Melvin also leads the team in rebounds (9.7) and assists (2.9). NC State is coached by Kay Yow, who is in her 23rd season with the Wolfpack. Yow owns a record of 488-199 at NC State and an overall career mark of 545-218 in 27 years.

LAST TIME OUT: Kalisa Davis scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Branka Bogunovic added 14 points and 11 rebounds in Maryland's 74-70 loss to No. 21 Clemson in overtime. Sonia Chase hit a free throw to tie the game at 63 with 12 seconds remaining in regulation but missed the second shot. Clemson turned the ball over on its final possession to force overtime. In the extra session, Clemson scored the first five points before a Tiffany Brown three-pointer cut the lead to 72-70 with 12 seconds remaining. Maryland was forced to foul and Clemson converted its free throws to seal the win.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE I: Branka Bogunovic recorded her first career double-double against Clemson with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Kalisa Davis recorded her second double-double of the season with a career-high 26 points and 10 rebounds. Davis' double-double against Clemson was the seventh of her career.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE II: The double-double performances by Davis and Bogunovic against Clemson marked the first time since Dec. 21, 1996 that two Terps recorded a double-double in the same game.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE III: Maryland is the only school in the ACC with five different players to record double-double performances this season.

LAST TIME AGAINST NC STATE: The Terps fell to then-10th ranked NC State, 64-56, on Jan. 15 at Cole Field House. Maryland took a 25-23 lead into the locker room at the half but Summer Erb scored 21 of her game-high 25 points in the second period. Tiffany Brown scored a season-high 21 points on 6-of-10 shooting from beyond the three-point arc.

2 FOR 300: Stephanie Cross led the Terps in scoring as a freshman (322, 11.5 ppg), sophomore (343, 13.2 ppg) and junior (332, 11.9 ppg). Cross needs just two more points to break the 300-point barrier as a senior. Cross currently stands 12th all-time in scoring at Maryland with 1,285 points. If Cross hits her average of 13 points per game for the remainder of the season, she will break into the top 10 scoring all-time.
GOLDEN TOUCH: Kalisa Davis leads the Terps and the ACC in field goal percentage, shooting 61.6 percent and is averaging 15.2 points per game. In 89 career games, Davis has converted 50 percent or more of her field goals in 59 games. Davis had her streak of 23 consecutive games in which she converted at least 50 percent or more of her field goals end against Duke on Jan. 30. Since the Blue Devil game, she has converted 21-of-37 for a 56.8 percent shooting mark.
NEAR THE TOP: Kalisa Davis has converted 355-of-620 field goals in her career for a shooting percentage of 57.3. She currently ranks second all-time in career field goal percentage at Maryland, second only to Jessie Hicks (1989-93) who converted 649-of-1,104 for a 58.8 shooting mark.
KELLEY'S ASSIST: Junior guard Kelley Gibson has dished out a career-high 111 assists this season for an average of 4.8 per game. Gibson has led the Terps in assists in 14 of the last 19 games.
GIBSON LOOKS FOR 15: Kelley's Gibson's 111 assists this season places her 16th all-time in the season assist category at Maryland. Gibson needs eight more assists to pass Katrina Colleton (1992-93) and move into 15th-place.
